Experience custom design
We guide our clients through a unique experience in design. The options to choose from are connected in a way that affect the overall style. The first experience usually results in a garment that fits so well it creates the desire to design another of a similar caliber. Every custom design you create inspires a better understanding of how to build a better ensemble than the last.
The choice in fabric is something that is very personal. The function of your suit plays a role in deciding what fabric you choose, as well as the climate you are wearing it in. Wool is the most commonly chosen fabric but you will have other options available when you go through the book of material at the tailor shop.
Style is broken down into a few different areas that are customizable to create unique features. When you walk in the doors to discuss your suit with the tailor, you have an idea of what you would look like. Everything you imagine can be made to match your idea. Form fitting measurements are a huge part of style. The older generations typically have looser and a more box shaped styles. The younger more trending styles are skinnier legs and form fitting jackets.
The lapel is a customizable item that can be made as wide or thin as you like. You can choose. peaked lapel, notched lapel, and a shawl lapel. The shawl lapels are commonly used as dinner jackets and worn on tuxedos but there are no restrictions to where you sport your bespoke formal wear. The notched lapel has traditionally been used for more everyday wear and the peaked lapel is a more celebratory style with a step up in formality from both styles.
Vents are located in the centre of the back of the jacket. The options are to have a single vent, double vent or no vent at all. Personal preference and the function of your suit will be the deciding factor on these features.
Pockets are a highly customizable option because you can make them to serve any function that is unique and personal. Common requests are coin pockets hidden near the belt line of the pants. They can be made to hold specific items inside the jacket to make it seem like your not holding anything at all. The options are limitless whether to build the pant or jacket with as many or as little pockets as is necessary for your personal needs.
Buying your first bespoke suit is an excellent opportunity to learn what you love about your bespoke suit. The second time round can be even better to address all the things you would have done better the first time round.
